Discussion Questions: In what ways did the idea of Deterrence influence the fighting in the Vietnam War and American foreign policy during this period? Note that the idea is to use this discussion forum as a way to compare the influence of Containment during the Korean War era (which we studied previously) with the influence of Deterrence in the Vietnam War era to help use better understand the two concepts more completely.
