For this assignment I would like for you to develop a physical education lesson plan using the lesson plan template within this module, blank edTPA lesson plan II.
Choose one of the following grades to gear your lesson towards: 5-8.
Choose one of the following topics for your lesson plan: soccer dribble, football punt, swinging a bat, throwing a dart, or shooting a basketball.
When choosing which Tennessee State Physical Education Standard to use visit this link (Links to an external site.). You will also need to use the SHAPE America Grade Level Outcomes for K-12 that can be found within this module.
Keep in mind activities and methods that are appropriate for the grade level chosen. Plans should be specific. This is a senior level class; I expect senior level work.
Again, you must use the edTPA lesson plan template II that can be found in this module. Grades will be based on content, detail, clarity and organization. Within in module you will find several examples.
See the Rubric for Lesson Plan to see specifically how I will evaluate your work. The Rubric is based on a 100 point scale but this assignment is worth 300 points.
This is your last assignment for the semester but you have several weeks to complete it. However, I would not encourage you to wait until the last minute.
