Quiz/Assessment on content of presentation Activity for learners to participate This proposal must include:- -the theory/model of learning and reading development you will research – a rationale for choosing this theory/model and how it connects to your work as an educator – a plan of action (how will you find/collect data and analyze said data) – the medium you would like to use to present your findings Option 2: Based upon the contents of the course, your own experiences as a student, and/or your experiences as a K-12 teacher/educator, you will create a proposal for your final course project – meaning you create an Inquiry-based / Action Research Project. The purpose of the project is to put into action some of the theories we have explored as a class and/or to explore in more depth a particular issue that you believe is pertinent to your professional contexts. This proposal must include: – the topic of your Action Research the Inquiry for your Research – a rationale for the project (i.e., context) that is based upon course content – a working thesis/hypothesis – a plan of action (how will you find/collect data and analyze said data) – the medium/platform you would like to use to present your findings (i.e. research paper, narrated PowerPoint, etc) NOTE: *as a guideline, it is expected to have around 1,500 3,000 words for research paper = about 250 -500 words for each bulleted item.
