Resource management needs to transform into being more strategic contributors to the success of the business because; the workplace demands are changing rapidly. In every business field, it is very hard to predict where the particular field will be in the next five or ten years (Boella, 2019). Due to technological changes that are happening, it has led to increased demand for the workplace as well as the fluid and the dynamic nature of the globalized workforce. As well as work settings are constantly changing the functions of people as well as how they will be accessed under it.

Human resource management is a very critical asset that will help with the changes. The days of assuming that the employees’ ideas or skills that they entered within a particular organization will remain the same are fading very fast. Change in an organization is inevitable; thus, it is the human resource responsibility to ensure individual skills are applied to the success of the organization. It is also the responsibility of human resource management to determine how different people are treated in an organization (Marler, 2016). It is their responsibility to hire employees, help them to effectively perform their duties, compensating them for work done, and solving any arising problems.

According to Cherrington’s definition, it is clear that HRM offers more than an administrative role and must change to strategically contributes to the success of the organization. By hiring employees and helping them to perform their work makes human resource management to be strategically contributors to the success of the organization.
