Activity for which CPD hours are claimed: Imparting knowledge (15/10/2018), 2 hours Explain the nature of the activity: In this activity, students were separated into the group. Each group has to find a dream job and find out what kind of knowledge, experience and ability do we need, also how to enhance our capability to fulfill the dream job. What did you gain from this activity? Activity for which CPD hours are claimed: Language training (semester one; course: Academic English), 7 hours Explain the nature of the activity: Student needs to attend the class once a week. In the course of Academic English, the lecturer, Peter taught as useful academic skills. Such as academic text types, academic structuring paragraphs and introducing literature review and so on. What did you gain from this activity? I had learned a lot from this course as I am an international student; I dont have much academic English background. I had learned how to use the proper structure in a different type of essay. Activity for which CPD hours are claimed: In-company development (18/02/2019-20/05/2019; 3 months), 14 hours Explain the nature of the activity: 1. Three months internship at The Royal Sun restaurant and bar as a Social Media and marketing assistant. 2. Working hours: three days per week; four hours per day. 3. Job responsibilities: To support the marketing team to drive current and new customer engagement on Instagram, Facebook and the website What did you gain from this activity? It was a great experience working at the royal sun as a social media and marketing assistant. I had learned what the real working life is like. Also, I used the knowledge which I had gained from the course in order to undertake the task. Through the internship, I had learned that it is very important to continue to operate social media and engage with the existing followers(customers).
