-In this essay, I would like to include that the main reason for applying for physical therapy school is that I got injured from playing volleyball and the only way to cure my twisted ankle is to go to a physical therapist. At that time, I did not understand how important it is and I did not go so until today it hurts me if I did a wrong movement. I want to become a physical therapist to help people return to their normal movements if they got injured while working, slip and fall, or if they made an accident. I like activities and I play volleyball constantly while practicing yoga so I like all body movements and I find it very interesting to learn about all body parts. I worked in a physical therapy office because I love the field so much and one of the things that made me more interested in becoming a physical therapist is that there was a patient that came to the office in a wheelchair and after several visits, she was able to walk in the clinic without a wheelchair. This story made me more interested on become a physical therapist to help people get back to normal movements. It took me a long time to finally know what I am really passionate about and I am trying to use all the opportunities like working as a front desk receptionist in a physical therapy office to be able to learn, improve and get more experiences in this field. First, I wanted to become a dentist because I like teeth but being specialized in only one part of the body was not a thing that I was interested in because I like all body parts and I could not see myself doing it every day. I had to change my major and it was a hard decision because it will cost me money and time but I did not mind because I really like it and I am putting it in front of me as the main goal to keep me motivated.
