They now have 29,324 locations worldwide. They are the 3rd largest fast food restaurant chain by number of locations in the world (3) strategic elements (e.g., mission, vision, core values, objectives, strategic direction, etc.) starbucks does not readily present its vision statement however after digging on their website it reads to establish Starbucks as the premier purveyor of the finest coffee in the world while maintaining our uncompromising principles while we grow. (4) major products/services produced and/or marketed Coffee beverages, smoothies, tea, baked goods, sandwiches (5) marketing strategies (targeted customers, differentiators, marketing communication efforts, etc.) (6) financial health and performance (based on annual reports, SEC filings, stock value, etc.) (7) current issues (internal and external) facing the company and their strategies/plans to address (based on information gleaned from annual reports, quarterly reports, press releases, news articles, etc.) (8) competitive threats/issues facing the company and their strategies/plans to address.
