Their mission is, “to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities. One of their large roles is being in public education and awareness. In addition, they support many programs that aid in the early prevention of substance abuse. Some worthwhile programs they promote are Talk–They Hear You, STOP Underage Drinking. STOP Act Grants, Early Riser, Across Ages, and a plethora of other programs.
