For your third and final assignment, you’ll create a Personal Ethics Statement. A Personal Ethics Statement is a statement that outlines a person’s core ethical values and beliefs
and provides a strong testimonial about one’s code of conduct when dealing with others. You’ll be able to use the statement and video for your business/website and when speaking with
clients.
The Personal Ethics Statement must be completed in the provided template and must include an
Introduction, Body and Conclusion. Your statement should contain information about your background, ethical stance, core beliefs and opinions, and the value you bring to customers as a result of those beliefs.
Personal Ethics Statement Worksheet:
Your personal ethics statement should include three parts: 1) your introduction (a bit about yourself and what you do) 2) the body of the statement and 3) your conclusion.
Your Introduction – in this area include details about yourself and any pertinent information that has had a significant impact on your ethical stance (1 paragraph).
• The body of the statement- this area should include your core values, opinions and beliefs, what’s important to you, what practices you preach and what your promise is
when dealing with others (2 paragraphs).
