The module 4 project is intense and will demand much of your time so do not delay in reading the instructions carefully! Here are some things you will need for this research project:
Revenue expectations – these must be justified, not “guessed” or “pulled out of thin air” – I want to see actual projections based on actual data with reputable sources to support your claims (M1 & M2 project data)
To accurately determine your revenue for one year (high and low seasons), you will need the following:
Number of customers – 1%-2% of your targeted market within a 20 miles radius of your business is acceptable for your new small business however any more than that and I expect a detailed justification
Average purchase of each customer – this is necessary for you to determine revenue
Average daily sales revenue (based on the above 2 bullets)
Cost of your goods/services
Break-even point
Plans for cash flow during slow season (% of high season returns to be held back to cover low season costs)
The instructions for this module come with notes in the margins just as the last project did so be sure to turn on “View Markup” so you can see the detailed notes I’ve left for you.
