Final Project Charter Full instructions are available in the attached instruction document. You will organize some of your completed Problem Sets into a Project Charter to be submitted at the end of the term. Design a full Project Charter similar to the one completed for the Residency Weekend. You will include your Business Case, Stakeholder ID, Project Scope Statement, Deliverables/Acceptance Criteria, WBS with Activities List, RACI Chart and Risk Register. Make corrections to these exercises as provided in grading feedback from the Instrutor. Ensure all inserted charts are legible. You will design this as an official document to be submited to the Project Sponsor; so ensure that it looks professional. You may add any additional sections, besides those listed, that you think would be beneficial to your overall product.

Final Project Charter – Residency Weekend

 

Compile/Develop a Project Charter similar to the one completed during the Residency Weekend only utilizing Problem Sets that you will have completed throughout the semester based on your selected project.

Your individual Final Project Charter will include:

1. Project Title – You will provide the title you best think fits the project
2. Business Case – providing basic background on the project
3. Project Scope Statement – a specific identification of what will be completed with this project
4. Stakeholder Register – Use Exhibit 6.4 and Instructions/Instructor Feedback from Problem Set #3
5. Communication Plan – Use Exhibit 6.9 and Instructions/Instructor Feedback from Problem Set #3
6. Deliverables with Acceptance Criteria – Use Exhibit 7.4 and Instructions/Instructor Feedback from Problem Set #4
7. WBS with Activities List – Use Exhibit 7.12 and Instructions/Instructor Feedback from Problem Set #4
8. RACI Chart – Use Exhibit 9.5 and Instructions/Instructor Feedback from Problem Set #5
9. Risk Register – Use Exhibit 11.9 and Instructions/Instructor Feedback from Problem Set #6

This assignment will be worth 80 points and is a continuation of the work we completed during the Residency Weekend.

You will submit as a single document (Word or pdf) by Tuesday, August 17^th, no later than 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The submission portal is located under the Required Residency Session Content folder.

Here is an explanation of how this final assignment will be graded. Each of these 8 components of the Project Charter will be worth 10 points each (80 points total)

1. Project Title/ Business Case/Project Scope Statement

4. Deliverables with Acceptance Criteria
5. WBS with Activities List
6. RACI Chart
7. Risk Register
8. Overall Form & Function of Charter – This will be the overall look, usability, and professionalism of the project charter as well as the inclusion of any other elements deemed necessary to be included to ensure a superior project charter.
